The last pancakes I may ever eat!

Wow, I actually made it! haven’t jumped on a scale in a few days, so I’ll update with my current weight later today. I survived 9 days on stampede hospitality! this little challenge took me to different events and places I’ve never been, introduced me to people I would’ve never met, and reaffirmed that Calgary is one of the greatest Cities there is. Thank you everyone for the encouragement, the tips and recommendations, its been fun!

 

I think I’ll fill my bathtub with spinach salad tonight and sit in it for a few hours…..

Almost There!!!

wow, i cant believe I’m actually gonna pull this off! yes there have been a few missed meals, but i just had to remind myself that there are thousands of Calgarians who go to sleep hungry, and definitely not by choice.

 

Off to Marda Loop for breakfast!

Tomorrows Plan

First stop will be Waves Coffee House at the corner of 17th ave and 5th st SW, then on to Fifth avenue place for thier annual breakfast. not sure if lunch is an option, as i’ve got a busy day at work. then a community block party in the evening. Day 7 already! wow!

Day 7: Eat or Sleep?

As some of you know, I’m actually at work all week so it limits the amount of time i have to scour the city for sustenance. And the longer this drags on, the more tired i get. getting up at 5:30 or 6 to chase down a breakfast before working at 8 is getting tiring.

 

That being said, Hank & Patsy night @ the Ship and Anchor was fantastic! the music, the people, and of course the Midnight breakfast was awesome as always! thanks to the great staff and friendly crowd for the good times!

Looks Like a healthy Breakfast @ the Talisman Centre for me! woo hoo!

Lunch and dinner to be confirmed, worse case scenario is a late breakfast at The Mustard Seed for Lunch and the District’s midnight Breakfast for dinner

Day 6: starting to feel it…

My stomach is a little upset today, luckily pepto is acceptable, had a good breakfast Sandwich @ Waves Coffee house on 17th ave & 10th st sw.

 

Nothing lined up for lunch yet, if you hear of something let me know!

 

Dinner will most likely be the Midnight Breakfast at the Ship and Anchor (starts @ 11pm)

Syrup & Holster

LOL thanks Heather for scouring the city for a holster that would fit a bottle of syrup its hilarious!

Its too Damn Hot! Milk was a bad choice!

Despite this intense Heat, the great food, good music, and ice cold beer provided by Diversified PEO kept me in relatively good shape tonight! thanks! (thanks Sarah, and Jamie for the Invites!)
